Guaranteed Entry into PBA’s M.S.N. or D.N.P. Programs
Our online R.N. to B.S.N. degree provides a streamlined pathway to PBA’s graduate nursing programs: Doctor of Nursing Practice (D.N.P.) or Master of Science in Nursing (M.S.N.). You need at least a 3.5 GPA to qualify for guaranteed entry, along with meeting other graduate admissions requirements.
Program Details
Expand your professional nursing competencies, understanding of leadership and management, practice in specialist areas, and research experience through the R.N. to B.S.N. program. Build on your professional experience from the field and transfer your associate’s degree credits to advance your credentials at PBA.
- Associate degree in nursing (A.D.N.) with a cumulative 3.0 GPA
2. A valid registered nurse license in the State of Florida
3. Minimum of one year’s work experience either as an R.N. or currently employed as an R.N.
4. Required documents below may be submitted directly to PBA admissions or through NursingCAS* at www.nursingcas.org
- Official Transcripts from all schools attended
- Copy of your State of Florida R.N. license
- Online students submit a federal or state-issued photo ID
- Answer an R.N. to B.S.N. focus question (no more than 300 words)
*The advantage of submitting documents directly to PBA Admissions is that it is simpler and quicker, but transcripts must be sent directly to PBA Admissions at 901 S. Flagler Drive, P.O. Box 24708, West Palm Beach, FL, 33416 or submitted electronically to data_team@dos5.net. The advantage of NursingCAS is that if you already have a completed profile, including transcripts, you do not need to reenter or submit that information. A nominal fee is associated with applying through CAS.
You will be notified in writing of the admission decision within two weeks after you complete the application and submit your documents. To secure your spot in the program after you’ve been accepted, you must submit a non-refundable $100 deposit no later than 30 days before classes begin. This deposit will be applied to your tuition upon enrollment.
Pair your desire to expand your skills with your commitment to your current patients and colleagues. At PBA, you don’t have to put your whole life on hold to earn your degree; you can study online and graduate in as little as three full-time semesters, and you’ll have the flexibility to start in fall (August), spring (January), or summer (May) term.

Our RN to B.S.N. degree pathways are designed to be as streamlined as possible. Consider our suggested plans of study based on the degree(s) you will transfer to PBA.
A.S. in Nursing/A.D.N. + A.A. or B.S.: complete at least 38 credits over three full-time semesters.
A.D.N. only: complete up to 61 credits over five full-time semesters.
